I obtained my BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo. I completed my undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Prof. Eric Fillion and worked on the synthesis and characterization of N-heterocyclic carbene supported tin complexes as potential Lewis acids. I started my MSc in Fall 2018 and am currently working on the synthesis of cyclobutylboronates via copper catalyzed conjugate borylation.
