I was born and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 1990. At the age of 18, I moved to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia to pursue a bachelor degree in chemistry at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). After I graduated in 2014, I attended graduate school at this institution for a Master's of Science degree in Chemistry. In 2016, I Joined Prof. Hall's research group for a PhD in the synthesis of chiral boronates.
