Hi everyone, I‘m Pauline Halle - visiting researcher from Germany. I grew up in Munich where I spent a lot of time in the mountains going hiking or skiing. After high school I moved to Berlin for my Chemistry studies. I completed my BSc in the beginning of 2023 and have been engaged in my Masters since.
Back in the Oestreich group at the Technical University of Berlin, I have worked on the Arylation of Imines with Diazasilanes and the transition metal mediated kinetic resolution of Silanols. In the Hall Group my research focuses on the boronine-catalyzed reduction of biomass. After my research internship I will go back to Germany to complete my MSc.
